eScriptMessenger Pharmacy Report Instructions

Summary

The eSM Pharmacy Report displays all of the pharmacies within your Centricity pharmacy list and the number of prescriptions sent to each over the last 90 days. These instructions explain how to create the pharmacy report.

About the Pharmacy Report

The Pharmacy Report displays all of the pharmacies within your Centricity pharmacy list, and the number of prescriptions sent to each over the last 90 days. You can create the report by running the pharmacy report script located on the Kryptiq Web site.

NOTE: The report does not contain any Personal Health Information (PHI). This report should be run after hours at large clinics.

You must run the Pharmacy Report to:

You can review the report to identify duplicate entries and missing information within your Centricity pharmacy list. Once identified, you can make the appropriate changes within Centricity.

SureScripts will conduct an outreach program to prepare the independent and chain pharmacies in your area. Sending your report to SureScripts ensures that they contact your most frequently used pharmacies before you begin e-prescribing.

NOTE: Maintaining a clean pharmacy list is an ongoing task you will perform prior to implementation and beyond. Even after you create the pharmacy report and resolve duplicates and missing information, you will need to make sure that incoming data (from your practice management system or other sources) does not compromise the information you have resolved.

How to Run the Pharmacy Report

To run the Pharmacy Report, you use Sqlplus to run a script called EMReport.sql. The script exports data to a report file called all-pharmacies.out. (Sqlplus is installed with Oracle Admin on the Centricity EMR client.)

    2. When prompted for a password, type ml (the default password)
    3. To close the command window, type Exit.
  6. Extract the contents of the eSMReport.zip file to the root of C:

    2. Click Next and then Next for the files to be extracted to C:\eSMReport
    3. Click Finish and leave Show Extracted Files Selected
    4. The folder will open showing the eSMReport.BAT and eSMReport.sql files
  7. Run the report by double clicking the eSMReport.BAT
    1. Enter the Centricity EMR database username (ml is the default username)
    2. Enter the Centricity EMR database password (ml is the default password)
